Book of the Week: The Shape Song Swingalong
What can you make with a line, a circle or square?
This week's Book of the Week, The Shape Song Swingalong, is based on an original song by children's singer SteveSongs, illustrated by David Sims. It shows how simple shapes can be transformed into anything you can imagine, from boats to skyscrapers to a circus.
The catchy song and animation will soon have you dancing along, making shapes!

Book of the Week: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
The snowmen of last month are making way for anthropomorphized letters, shapes that turn into objects, and colour mixing in February's Books of the Week.
This week, the children will be reading Bill Martin Jr.'s Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, co-written by John Archambault and illustrated by Lois Elhert. In it, lower-case letters climb a coconut tree, but fall out when the tree bends under their weight. Their capital letter parents, aunts and uncles help them back to their feet.
